Veterans Memorial Plaza

A beautiful gathering place at Carol Stream Town Center

Veterans Memorial Plaza was completed and dedicated on Memorial Day, May 27, 2019, in addition to being a place to hold military services it has become a beautiful gathering place for residents and visitors. Donations are still being accepted for the maintenance and improvement to Veterans Memorial Plaza, located at Town Center in Carol Stream. Carol Stream’s Veterans Memorial Plaza includes several awe-inspiring amenities to honor members of the military who serve our community and country.

The site includes beautiful landscaping, modern lighting, veneered limestone capped seat wall, flag poles and granite markers representing the five military branches; Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard. The memorial plaza also features a POW marker and a memorial stone to honor military from our community who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Commemorative bricks are available for purchase, as we want to continue to recognize those serving our country, past, present and future.

Memorial Brick Program

You can become part of this special project, now and in the future when you honor a Veteran with a personalized, commemorative decorative brick paver. The purchase of a brick paver is a donation toward the construction and upkeep of Veterans Memorial Plaza, a beautiful memorial and community gathering place. Brick pavers also make ideal gifts for special holidays, military graduations, birthdays, memorials, or commemorating a special date. Businesses and patrons are also invited to support Veterans Memorial Plaza with a personalized brick.

We want to recognize all veterans and will continue to take commemorative bricks orders to be added to the Veterans Memorial Plaza periodically. Thank you for your support.
