Outdoor Court Locations

Armstrong Park (6 courts)

  • 8:00am-9pm – March 1-May 31
  • 8:00am-10pm – June 1-August 31
  • 8:00am-9pm – September 1-October 31
  • 391 Illini Drive – park in south lot
  • There are court lights which operate through 9:00pm (or 10pm in the summer).

Walter Park (1 court)

  • 8:00am-dusk daily
    • Reservations currently close at 7:00pm and may vary by season. Park closes at dusk and there are no court lights.
  • 970 High Ridge Pass

Pleasant Hill Park (6 courts)

  • 8:00am-dusk daily
  • 1N251 Harriet Street, Winfield
    • Additional parking allowed at Pleasant Hill School

Reservation Fees & Times

Fees

  • Residents: $15/hour
  • Non-residents: $20/hour

Reservation Times

  • Minimum reservation time: 1 hour
  • Maximum reservation time: 2 hours
  • Reserve in 15 minute increments.
  • Payment is by the minute and will prorate accordingly.

If there are no reservations, free play is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

How to Reserve a Court

Reserve Online:

  • Click here
  • Select Reserve a Pickleball Court
  • Sign in or create an Activenet account
  • Click Reservation Group, then select Pickleball Rental
  • Enter Event Name (i.e. Smith Family)
  • Click the date to open the calendar & select your reservation date
  • Select the time frame on your preferred court (1 hour minimum, 2 hour maximum)
  • Confirm Booking
  • Follow steps to process payment and reserve the court

Reservation Requirements, Cancelations & Transfers

  • Reservations must be made at least one day in advance.
  • Reservations cannot be modified or canceled online. If an amendment is necessary, it must be requested through the front desk at (630)784-6100 at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Players should be able to access their reservation at the court in order to verify priority usage.
  • Refunds are NOT provided for cancelations of any sort.
  • If a cancelation is requested more than 24 hours in advance, a credit can be placed on your park district account.
  • Cancelations, credits, and transfers are NOT available within 24 hours.
  • Inclement weather
    • Refunds are NOT available for inclement weather cancelations.
    • Supervisor approval is needed to authorize a credit or transfer within 24 hours due to inclement weather.
    • Credits/transfers must be requested prior to the reservation start time. Partial credits/refunds are not available due to inclement weather mid-reservation.

Open Play

  • Players must yield to those with reservations.
  • If there are no reservations or the reserving party is not present, open play will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • All players must follow the rules posted at the courts.

Paddle Rack System

  • When a game ends, all four players come off the court.
  • Winners place their paddles on the W side, and losers put theirs on the L side, moving from the outside in. Players should place their paddles into the first available spot.
  • When a court opens, the first two paddles from the W side, and the first two paddles from the L side play on the open court.
  • At the conclusion of each game, all four players exit the court.
