Spring Baseball
The Spring Baseball season kicks off in early April and runs through late June or mid-July, depending on weather. Teams play 16 scheduled games, with at least 12 guaranteed, and typically compete two to three times per week on weeknights and weekends. Pinto (8U) teams play mostly in Carol Stream, while Mustang (10U) may play a few games in nearby towns. Major (12U) and Pony (14U) divisions participate in intervillage play. A single-elimination postseason is held for Mustang and older leagues.

Fall Baseball
Fall Baseball offers a shorter, competitive season beginning mid-August and ending by late October. Teams play one to two games per week on weeknights and weekends, with eight regular-season games followed by a single-elimination postseason. Depending on registration numbers, intervillage play may be required.

Coaches

Coaching

Coaches may revoke playing time for participants that have missed an excess of practice time or are disciplinary problems. Before revoking playing time, the coach must inform Carol Stream Park District staff and the player’s parents prior to the game.

Responsibility

Coaches are responsible for their team before, during, and after all games and practices. Coaches should instruct players to report directly to the gym and remain there until the conclusion of the game of practice. Coaches are responsible for remaining at the practice or game site until the last player has been picked up.
